Thank you for your continued interest in the Ted Steven Anchorage International Airport Part 150 Noise Compatibility Study. Additional work vital to the Part 150 Study process was completed over the summer. The forecasts have been completed as part of the Alaska International Airport System (AIAS) Plan. A public meeting on the forecasts will be held by the Airport Master Plan and Alaska International Airport System Plan consultant teams in September. Additionally, members of the Part 150 Noise Study consultant team will be there to answer questions.

Additionally, the Part 150 Study Team recently completed the second round of noise monitoring at the airport. Over the next two months, the summer noise monitoring data and the winter noise monitoring data will be compiled and put into a report. Additionally, operational assumptions pertaining to the model will be completed and baseline noise contours will be produced. Once contours and the associated working papers are drafted, a public meeting will be held so that stakeholders and members of the public can review the baseline noise contours. This meeting will be held in November at the time and location detailed below.
